It feels SO GOOD to be back creating with the Global Design Project team for their 500th challenge! 🎉 It’s been a few years since I have participated and I am so happy to be back in the game.
For this challenge, we’re CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) another designer — and I couldn’t resist spotlighting the fabulous Su Mohr of @aromasandart. Her clean floral layout using the You Are Remarkable stamp set stole my heart, and I knew it was the perfect time to bring it back with a touch of Stampin’ Hoot style.
I refreshed the look with a soft, neutral palette (Basic Beige and Early Espresso), added my signature love for texture using the Textured Notes Dies, and topped it all off with a stitched tag and bow. Let’s dive into the details of this layered beauty! 🌻
card tutorial: enjoy two step stamping!
- Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Basic Beige Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2 (portrait style card).
- Use Clear Blocks to stamp the following onto the Basic Beige Cardstock:
- Sentiment (Tags to Go Stamp Set) – Early Espresso
- Flower – Early Espresso, Darling Duckling and Old Olive
- Bee – Early Espresso
- Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and
- Textured Notes Dies:
- Basic Beige – Largest (5 3/8 x 3 7/8)
- Basic Beige Flower – 3rd Largest (4 5/16 x 2 3/4) .
- Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper – 2nd Largest (4 3/8 x 3 1/4).
- Tags to Go Dies:
- Basic Beige Sentiment – Coordinating Die
- Textured Notes Dies:
- Zip the largest die-cut through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.
- Adhere the bottom two die-cuts together and to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Wrap the flower with Basic Beige ribbon, securing with a bow. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie the tag to the bow with Linen Thread.
- Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots.
