This Little Piggy Has a Birthday Party Card
This past weekend I was able to spend three full days making cards and scrapbook pages. My son, Parker, is my little crafting buddy. During our nightly call at bedtime, he always asked me what I created that day…then he requested that I create a card with the piggies. I knew it would be the first thing that he asked to look at when they picked me up on Sunday, so I went to work on his request.
I use Pinterest a lot for inspiration. (You can follow my board by clicking here). Although I don’t often CASE a card, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to CASE this one created by the talented Juana Create! (CASE = COPY AND SHARE w/EVERYONE, COPY AND SELECTIVELY EDIT, COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING…you get the point). There isn’t a lot to the card, just stamping, coloring and cutting!
CARD DETAILS:
- Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 5.5 in x 8.50 in and scored / folded at 4.25 inch.
- 2nd Layer: Shimmery White Cardstock colored with an Aqua Painter. Sky: Soft Sky and Grass: Pear Pizzazz.
- All pig images are from the This Little Piggy Stamp Set. The balloons, cake and flag images are from the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set. They are all stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock. Images are all colored with an Aqua Painter with the following colors:
- Pigs: Pink Pirouette
- Balloons: Melon Mambo
- Cake: Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate and Crushed Curry
- Banner: Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo
- The pigs were all fussy cut with a Paper Snips. All other images have coordinating framelits from the Birthday Friend Framelits Dies. Buy the stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10%. Birthday Delivery Photopolymer Bundle.
- All images were adhered to the 2nd Layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
