Star of Light Stamp Set & Dual Embossed Christmas Card
Today I am sharing another card that I created during the 2016 Holiday Season. The Star of Light Photopolymer Stamp Set and coordinating Starlight Thinlits dies were introduced in the 2016 Holiday Catalog and have carried over to the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. They are a favorite of mine and I plan on creating more in the near future to share with you.
Here are the card details:
- Card Base is Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock cut to 5 1/2 in x 8 1/2 in and scored/folded at 4 1/4 in.
- 2nd Layer is a Copper Foil Sheet cut to 4 in x 5 1/4 in and adhered with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
- 3rd Layer is Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut to 3 3/4 in x 5 in and adhered with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
- 4th Layer is Very Vanilla Cardstock cut to 3 1/2 in x 4 3/4 in. I stamped the image and sentiment with Versamark Ink, added Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I adhered it to the Card Base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Using a detailed die from the Starlight Thinlits Dies, I gently added Versamark Ink to the die prior to running it through my Big Shot with a foam pad instead of the cutting mat to deboss the image. I then added Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder to the debossed image and set it with my Heat Tool. I then used my Paper Snips to cut around my debossed image.
- I added Copper Metallic Thread to the back of my image prior to adhering it to the Card Base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
