Happy 16th Birthday for Just Add Ink #390 Sketch
Happy 16th Birthday – Just Add Ink 390
Happy Tuesday All!
The holidays have my internal schedule on high havoc. I started my post for today as Happy Hump Day only to realize it’s only TUESDAY! I definitely do not need the days to go any faster, I am already behind on shopping, we only have a few gifts purchased and I still have so much decorating to do. You may see reduced activity on my blog this week as I turn my focus to my family. I am sure you all can understand that.
Card Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 4 1/4 x 11 in. Scored/Folded at 5 1/2 inches for a standard sized card that fits perfectly in our Medium Sized Envelopes.

Embellishments: Whisper White Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the “Sixteenth” sentiment on Basic Black.
Stamps: Number of Years & Milestone Moments

I think that the Milestone Moments & Number of Years Stamp Sets are the perfect match for creating cards for special moments in life. I have used it on 40th Birthday Card and now the 16th Birthday. (You can see my 40th Birthday Card Post here). I love stamp sets that are fun and versatile, anything that gets numerous uses is well worth the investment!
Can you believe it, another card using the Ink Smooching Technique! I just cannot seem to create a card these days without adding it. If you haven’t downloaded my step-by-step tutorial on ink smooching and watercolor background, you can download it now by CLICKING HERE.
The Just Add Ink #390 Sketch was the perfect layout for my 16th Birthday Card! I love using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Basic Black Cardstock. It adds a wow factor with little effort. Use the Banner Triple Punch to flag the ends easily!
This card was for my nephew who turned 16. We celebrated with a dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that just happens to be half-way between us and them. If you live in the Twin-Cities, I highly recommend Sal’s Angus Grill in Stillwater, MN. It’s a lot of food, so go hungry!
Be sure to visit the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog to gain oodles of inspiration from the talented Design Team and others that play along! I have just started playing along with them and was excited to see that the picked my submission last week as the winner of the Inspiration Challenge.
