Hand Delivered and Pick a Pennant Stamp Sets by Stampin' Up! for a school days theme for #GDP155 Theme Challenge #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot

Happy Monday Everyone!

The Global Design Project is sporting a Theme Challenge this week, which just happens to be “school days”.  My 9-year-old son Preston (a.k.a. P1) and 6-year-old son Parker (a.k.a. P2) just had their first week of 4th and 1st grade!  They love school and were happy to be back. My husband and I are so proud of them and I decided to make a card to give them, so they know.  I used the Hand Delivered Host Set and their school colors!

What can I say, Stampin’ Blends are AMAZING and I love coloring with them!  I used to watercolor everything, now I tend to grab my Blends.  To coordinate with P1 and P2’s school colors, I used the following:  Night of Navy Combo Pack, Mango Melody Combo Pack, Smoky Slate Combo Pack, Real Red Combo Pack, Call Me Clover Dark.

The Best Route Suite of Products just happens to be the same color scheme as their school colors, so the Designer Series Paper and Enamel Shapes were the perfect addition to the Hand Delivered Stamp Set.

The Pick a Pennant Stamp Set was used to personalize the card for P1 (Preston) and P2 (Parker). The coordinating thinlits dies makes it quick and easy to crop out the pennant with the aid of the Big Shot and Magnetic Platform.

My trusty Paper Snips was used to snip out the books and sign, which were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to make them pop!   I love the way this card turned out and I cannot wait to give it to my sons to show them how proud I am1

Stasia, such a cute card. Love the colors rather than the usual red and blue! It has a true back to school look!
