A Little Wild with the Stamp Review Crew
Hello There, Honey Bear!
The stamp set, A Little Wild, is the feature of today’s hop with the Stamp Review Crew! This is one of my FAVORITE sets from Stampin’ Up! I have made several creations with this set, all which will be listed at the bottom of this post.
I love to watercolor these images, they have so much open space, you can easily add the color with an Aqua Painter.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
With a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5 1/2″.
Cut a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock to 4 3/16″ x 5 7/16″. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. Adhere with Snail Adhesive.
Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Use an Aqua Painter to watercolor wash a background of Balmy Blue & Mossy Meadow Classic Inks. Stamp with grass image as shown using Mossy Meadow.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the bear, hive and bees in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. Use an Aqua Painter to watercolor with Soft Suede (bear & hive), and Mango Melody (bees). Crop with a Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, and coordinating dies from the Little Loves Framelits. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (snipped to size).
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink onto Soft Suede Cardstock rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess, and set with a Heat Tool. Snip to size with a Paper Snips. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
What I love about this set is the front and back images of the animals. The coordinating die cuts them as a foldable tag to adorn a gift, but I love to use my Paper Snips to separate it into two pieces and use the backside on the inside of the card. SO STINKIN’ CUTE!
If the A Little Wild Stamp Set and coordinating Little Loves Framelits Dies doesn’t adorn your craft shelves, what are you waiting for! I think this set may just be one of my most loved and used sets. I hope it sticks around for a long time! I haven’t had enough of it yet!
I thought the Heart Epoxy Droplets were the perfect embellishment for this card. Subtle but meaningful. I love all epoxy and enamel embellishments. They add just the right touch to finish off any card or paper craft creation.
Another sentiment stamped on dark cardstock and heat embossed in white. Such a great contrast to the white background of the card and draws the eye to the perfectly coordinating words.
