TGIF! It’s time for an INSPIRATION Challenge!
On May 7, my Grandma turned 89 years old. We had a birthday party for her and I made three cakes. A Vanilla, a Chocolate, and a Coconut. It was really my first attempt at making cakes, I even bought three new round pans with my Kohl’s cash to try and get it right. I learned a few things (the difference between cake flour and all-purpose = PROTEINS). I frosted them, kept it simple and more elegant. You can see them at the end of this post…
Anyway, this card was created for my sweet grandma, whom I love dearly. She looks lovely in purple so I made sure to include that in my creation.

Crop the floral images with the coordinating Cottage Flowers Dies and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Color the images with a Water Painter and the following Classic Inks: Gorgeous Grape and Mossy Meadow. Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Trim the sentiment to size with a Paper Trimmer. Adhere Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Sparkle & Shine Sequins (adhered with a Fine Tip Glue Pen) and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
This flower would be beautiful in so many different colors. I also love the soft feel of the Abigail Rose Suite Collection, which Cottage Rose is a part of. You can find it on pages 56-57 in the NEW 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

Here’s my beautiful grandma with several of her great-grandkids…as well as the three cakes. 🙂
