Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays, so the design team created a project for the holiday of their choice. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The adorable images from the Kindest Gnomes Bundle are prefect for coloring with any medium, especially when using the amazing Watercolor Pencils on Kraft Paper or Basic White Cardstock.
The Kindest Gnomes Bundle includes the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set and the Gnomes Dies.
This stamp and die set coordinate perfectly so you can make the most out of your gnome-themed cards and crafts. Stamp your gnome friends and precision-cut them using the dies. Create a storybook village by layering die cuts and stamps together for a stepped-up design.
Here are the products you will need:

So without further ado, lets get to the project tutorial for these two simple but fun colored note cards!
Begin by burnishing the fold on the Kraft or Basic White Notecard with a Bone Folder.
Add a touch of Bermuda Bay Classic Ink to the Notecard with a Blending Brush.
Stamp the images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto separate pieces of Kraft or Basic White Cardstock.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Gnomes Dies.
Color with Watercolor Pencils as follows:
Coloring with Watercolor Pencils is best done in layers to add depth and dimension. I highly recommend you keep your pencils sharp and apply a light touch for obtaining the best detail.
Layer 1: Real Red, Crushed Curry, and Balmy Blue
Layer 2: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight
Layer 3: Basic Black
Apply the same layering technique for the gnomes, incorporating Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray, and Calypso Coral (hat, beard, and nose) Watercolor Pencils.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a 1 3/4 x 1/4 piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy from the Embossing Additions Tool Kit.
Cover with White Basics Embossing Powders. Set with a Heat Tool.
Adhere with Snipped-to-Size Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using Watercolor Pencils on Basic White Cardstock is not as forgiving as when coloring on Kraft Paper. The depth and dimension is obtained by adding more layers of color.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 14th. Our theme will be Last Minute Gift/Card Ideas.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Your coloring is amazing! I love the card. But your coloring has brought it all to life. I wish I could do justice to a case!
I like the way you showed the steps to adding color to the mushroom. Now I know why I need to take the time to do it that way! Beautiful card.
