Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
Ready to sprinkle some handmade holiday magic into your crafting? This month’s theme, Season’s Greetings, is all about celebrating the joy of creating from the heart. The Stampin’ Pretty Pals have gathered to share festive cards and paper-crafting inspiration using our favorite Stampin’ Up! products — each project designed to ignite your creativity and help you capture the spirit (and sparkle!) of the season. So grab your stamps, paper, and ink — it’s time to make your holidays Hoot-a-Riffic!
Nothing says “holiday magic” quite like a flurry of snowflakes! For this frosty creation, I paired the Snowy Delight Bundle with a cool wash of Summer Splash Ink to capture that crisp, winter-morning glow. The large die-cut snowflake steals the show, layered over a softly blended background and accented with sparkling pearls and iridescent dots. A few torn paper edges and bits of thread add texture and whimsy—because even snow days deserve a touch of Hoot-a-Riffic flair!
If snowflakes inspire your creativity, you’ll love the Snowy Delights Bundle. It includes three coordinated, snowflake-themed products designed to be used together. Combine stamped images, masked images, and die cuts to create wintry projects without guesswork.
card tutorial: make a snowflake card with snowy delight
- Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2 (portrait style card).
- Use a Blending Brush to add Summer Splash Ink to the outer edges of a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock.
- Stamp the small snowflakes in Summer Splash Ink around the top and bottom of the layer as shown.
- Splatter the layer with the cap and brush end of a Summer Splash Stampin’ Write Marker.
- Splatter with Winsor & Newton Permanent White Gouache.
- Distress the edges with a distressing tool. Fold in the corners and staple two as shown.
- Crop the snowflake in Basic White Cardstock and lower layer in Vellum Specialty Paper. Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Embellish with Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls, Frosted Iridescent Dots, and Black & White Neutral Matte Dots.
- Cut and shred White 1/4″ Ribbon, adhere to the snowflake with Stampin’ Seal.
- Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Heat Emboss in White Basics WOW Embossing Powder. Snip Closely with Paper Snips. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
