card tutorial: make this snowman christmas card
- Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2 (portrait style card).
- Zip a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White Cardstock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
- Adhere to a 3 7/8 x 5 1/5 piece of Basic White Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the snowman in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Festive Friends dies:
- Basic White – Tag, Tree, Stamped Snowman
- Real Red – Tree and Tag Topper
- Adhere the tag topper to the top of the tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Thread and tie a bow of Real Red & White Baker’s Twine as shown.
- Adhere the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the Basic White Tree and Real Red Tree Center to the tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as shown.
- Color the snowman with the following Stampin’ Blends:
- Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light and Dark Real Red, Light Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie, Color Lifter
- Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Cover with Basics WOW! White Embossing Powder, set with a Heat Tool. Trim to size. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Embellish with Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints.
