Pals Blog Hop: Flowers in Bloom with Flowers Fair

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop! This month’s theme is Flowers in Bloom, and I couldn’t wait to pull out the beautiful Flowers Fair Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!. If you love bold florals and vibrant color, these cheerful blooms are sure to brighten your day!

For today’s cards, I created two similar designs using different stamping techniques for a fun side-by-side comparison. One card was stamped in black ink for a crisp, classic look, while the second was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed in black for added shine and texture. It’s amazing how one small change can create such a different feel!

Melon Mambo takes center stage on both cards and truly steals the show. I love how vibrant and happy it looks paired with the softer greens and pops of purple. The floral images were colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, which made blending and shading these blooms so quick and satisfying. Adding deeper tones near the petal bases helped create dimension while keeping the overall design bright and fresh.

To keep the focus on the florals, I paired the stamped panels with a simple Melon Mambo mat and finished each card with a bold black sentiment layer. The contrast of the black against all that bright floral color really makes the greeting pop!

One of my favorite things about the Flowers Fair Stamp Set is how versatile it is. Whether you prefer simple stamping, heat embossing, watercoloring, or coloring with blends, these floral images are perfect for experimenting with different techniques and color combinations.

Thank you so much for stopping by my corner of the hop today! I hope these bright floral birthday cards inspire you to pull out your favorite coloring medium and create something beautiful.
