No Stamps Needed with the Memories & More Card Kits!

This weekend my family and I had the chance to go to Spooner, WI and spend 3 days on the lake with friends we hadn’t seen in awhile.  I had a few business things I needed to work on while I was there so I brought minimal supplies with me and I didn’t use many of them.  I was pleasantly surprised with what I was able to create with the Memories & More Card Packs….and I didn’t need a single stamp. The cards averaged 5 to 10 minutes to create (that includes clean-up) so I didn’t miss out on any important moments (see below).

Preston (8) and Parker (5) got to try out Kayaking for the very first time. Preston was a natural, he could have made his way around the lake with ease.  Parker is still pretty small for it, so we tethered him to the dock and could pull him back when needed.  The WEATHER was PERFECT!

 

The first Memories & More kit I grabbed was Petal Garden. I absolutely LOVE the roses! They are beautiful and make any card or scrapbook page stand out! I promised I wouldn’t take long in creating my card…so they thought it would be funny to set 5 minutes on the microwave timer…I finished with 56 seconds to spare :).

The next day I decided to grab another card pack.  This time I went with Color Theory and the Large Striped Card immediately called to me.  I had to cut it down to size (5.25 in.) add a few embellishments, choose the sentiment I wanted and viola, I was done.  This one probably took me about 5 minutes as well.

On my last day away, the boys went on a four-wheeler ride so that gave me some alone time and a bit more time to craft.  Next I grabbed the Perfect Days Card Pack. I love to fussy cut, it’s my therapy and relaxing for me.  So I decided on this one, I would implement some fussy cutting into my card.  The drop shapes positioned like a flower called to me so I went along with making it a major focal point of my card. I fussy cut a few more shapes and this card was born. I would say this one took me about 10 minutes to finish up (no timing required on this one).

I decided I had time to whip together one more card and needed to make one with the Bundle of Love Card Pack.  I had tossed a piece of Black Mini Sequin Trim into my bag before leaving and since this pack has some very pretty black and vanilla cards, I wanted to incorporate the Sequin Trim into my creation.  A small bit more fussy cutting (heart and onesie) and this card was complete.

So less than 30 minutes of crafting I made 4 cards with minimal supplies!  I am pumped because I have so many more cards left to create over 100 more!  What’s better, the card packs only cost $10.00 each!  Add some Whisper White and Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock to your order and you have what you need to make oodles of cards!
