Hoot N’ Easy Friday Pick A Pumpkin Bundle – Halloween Cards

Welcome to my Hoot N’ Easy Friday Pick A Pumpkin Blog Feature.  This week I am using the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle to show a Quick N’ Easy Halloween Card as well as one that has been Stepped-Up A Hoot! The Reason:  I want to show the versatility of Stampin’ Up! products and how you can keep things simple and still make a striking card with minimal products and papercrafting experience. I also want to show the seasoned paper crafters how amazing creations can be when you use all tools and accessories that Stampin’ Up! Offers!  How am I doing?  Comment Here

When creating with the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle, I always gravitate to a portrait card. I did this on a previous Pick A Pumpkin card that you can see by click the link below:

Quick N’ Easy Card Details:

  • Card Base is Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 8 in x 7 in and scored / folded at 3.5 in to create a long and skinny, portrait style card.
  • 2nd Layer is Crumb Cake Cardstock cut 1/4 inch smaller to 7 3/4 in x 3 1/4 in. Adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • 3rd Layer is Whisper White Cardstock cut to 7 1/2 in x 3 in and adhered to the Crumb Cake with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
  • All Pumpkins from the Pick a Pumpkin Stamp Set were stamped in Tangerine Tango Ink with Basic Black Archival Ink for the faces.
  • I used Lemon-Lime Twist and Basic Black Archival Ink (Ink Pads and Stampin’ Write Markers) on the leaves.
  • The 1/4 in Lemon-Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon was wrapped around the top layer and secured with a bow. The Basic Black Solid Bakers Twine was wrapped and secured with a simple knot.
  • The Happy Halloween Sentiment is from the Season to Sparkle Stamp Set.  I cut to size with my Stampin’ Trimmer and flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch.  It was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Black Rhinestone Jewels were added as a final touch.

Here is a closer look at the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle.  The Quick N’ Easy Card only utilizes the stamp set.  My Stepped-Up A Hoot Card uses both the stamp set and dies included in the bundle.

My Stepped-Up a Hoot Card has lots of depth and dimension, something that I love to add to my creations.  Using the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits Dies (along with your Big Shot) makes it easy to get the dimension that I crave.
