Accented Blooms Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! Hello Card by Stesha Bloodhart, Stampin' Hoot! #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot
This was the first time I inked up the Accented Blooms Stamp Set and I LOVE it!  I created this card during my retreat back in October, so I went with fall-themed colors, do you like?  I think it would look just as beautiful in holiday colors such as Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, & Daffodil Delight!

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. With a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut a piece of Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″.  Score and fold at 5 1/2″.
  2. Cut a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  3. Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 5″.  Smooch with Soft Suede and Daffodil Delight Ink.  (See smooching instructions here)
  4. Create a notch at the top left with the Daisy Punch to hold the Linen Thread in place.  Wrap three loops and secure with a bow. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the floral image in Versamark Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove excess, then set with a Heat Tool. Color with an Aqua Painter and the following classic ink colors: Mango Melody, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green. Snip closely with a Paper Snips.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp the “Hello” sentiment in Soft Suede Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. Blend with an Aqua Painter.  Crop with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Add 5 Rhinestone Basic Jewels, colored with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker for the final touch!

One of my favorite techniques is embossing with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and watercolor in the image.  Having the lines embossed makes it so much easier to color the image and stay within the thin lines.

I love that we can color most all embellishments with our Stampin’ Blends to make them custom to match our creations.  I must say, I am kind of obsessed with coloring them.  It just makes them so versatile to have in any color I need. Stampin’ Blends are my DOUBLE Hoot Loot for the month of November. Place an order of $50+ with my host code (right sidebar of my blog) and you receive TWO, yes TWO Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs of YOUR CHOICE! An $18 value!
