Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
Welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop! This month we’re sharing our Hoot-a-Riffic Catalog Favorites—the stamps, dies, papers, and embellishments from the current catalog we can’t stop owl-ways reaching for! Whether you’re adding to your wish list or giving old favorites another hoot, we hope these projects inspire you to spread your creative wings and have a owl-some time crafting!
This card features one of my absolute catalog favorites—the Sending Salutations Stamp Set! I paired it with the NEW Hot Foil System (available July 10, limited stock), the stunning Botanical Glow Bundle, and the elegant Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies for a design that’s rich in texture and shine.
Meet the NEW Stampin’ Hot Foil System!
One of the most exciting new additions to Stampin’ Up! is almost here! The NEW Stampin’ Hot Foil System officially launches on July 10, making it easier than ever to add gorgeous metallic shine and elegant details to your handmade cards and paper crafts.
The demonstrator response to this new system has been overwhelming, so if you’ve been thinking about adding it to your craft room, I recommend ordering early. Demand is expected to be high, and if the Hot Foil System sells out, it may not be restocked until later this year due to longer manufacturing times.
If you love adding that extra “wow” factor to your projects, I think you’re going to fall in love with the beautiful possibilities this system offers. Be sure to check back on July 10 and grab yours while supplies last! ✨🦉
I kept the color palette simple with a monochromatic combination of Mossy Meadow and Old Olive, letting the gold foil accents take center stage. The layered leafy branches create beautiful dimension, while the softly stamped background adds just enough interest without stealing the spotlight. A few sparkling embellishments finish it off with the perfect touch of shimmer.
Sometimes you don’t need a rainbow of colors to make a statement. This project proves that a limited palette, a little foil, and a favorite stamp set can create a card that’s simply owl-standing! 🦉✨

I foiled the leaves in gold foil, then snipped them out with Detail Scissors and colored them in with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin Blends.
🦉 Hoot Tip! One of my favorite discoveries is that Stampin’ Blends play beautifully with the new hot foiling! You can color right over the foiled images, and the gorgeous metallic finish stays smooth, shiny, and completely intact. That’s definitely a win-win! ✨
For the crispest, cleanest foil results, I recommend using Stampin’ Up!’s Two-Tone Cardstock. The card above was created with White Willow Cardstock, and you can see just how beautifully the foil transfers. Our traditional cardstock has a bit more texture from its fibers, so the foiling takes on a softer, slightly distressed or weathered look. Both are beautiful—it just depends on the style you’re after!
Thanks for owl-ways stopping by! Don’t miss the rest of the talented Pals on the hop—they’re ready to inspire your next creative adventure. And be sure to fly back next month for our Animal House theme… it’s going to be a hoot and a half!
