3-D Thursday – Ribbon of Courage Gift Bag
The start of a something new! 3-D Thursday! From now on, every Thursday I will be featuring a 3-D Project on my Blog! 1st Up: Ribbon of Courage Gift Bag!
Today’s project is a Striped Treat Bag (Available as a Pkg of 10) decorated with the All New Ribbon of Courage Bundle. They are cute little bags that can be filled with just about anything! They are perfect for jewelry, cookies, candy, etc.
I love that the Ribbon of Courage Bundle can be used in more ways than one. You can recognize the courage of those that have served our country or remember / bring awareness to those that have fought or are currently fighting a battle with cancer. I used the color orange, which brings awareness to Blood Cancer. My Grandpa, whom I was very close to, fought a battle against Blood Cancer. I also have a fellow demonstrator that has recently been diagnosed and is just starting her battle. So this post is dedicated to all those that have been affected, in some way or another, by Blood Cancer.
Treat Bag Details:
- I was about to write that I didn’t have a single bit of fussy cutting on this treat bag, but then I noticed the sentiment. I did fussy cut the around the letters, but you sure could use a circle punch or circle die to frame the sentiment to make it easier.
- I stamped all images and the sentiment in Versamark, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and did the magic with the Heat Tool. I then colored the images with Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Lemon-Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers.
- The Ribbon and Heart Stamped images (from the Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set) were cropped with the coordinating Framelit Dies.
- All other images were cropped with the dies from the Support Ribbon Framelits Dies using Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Lemon-Lime Twist Cardstock and Gold Foil.
- I added the Metallic Enamel Hearts and the Gold Binder Clip as a final touch.
